• Cynon Valley Protection Group - The Dare Valley is a spur of the Cynon Valley where the river Dare rises at the foot of the Bwllfa heights in the background. This outstandingly beautiful area was once devastated by the search for coal and is now threatened with a ring of 400ft high wind turbines.
